Cumbernauld Castle was Lord Fleming's reward for severing the head of an enemy of the King of England in 1306. Out of this act of loyalty the family motto, "Let the deed shaw," was forged into history and into the family coat of arms forever.

Fleming Castle is a 3D first-person shooter available in Single Player and Mutliplayer Internet/LAN versions. The characters are named after real people from the Fleming family history. Cumbernauld was one of the largest Fleming castles in Europe.
